IDEAS: Undocumented Student Week

October 3, 2011 in Events

This week, IDEAS at UCLA will be holding Undocumented Student Week. It all starts today, Monday Oct. 3rd.

Due to the recent developments in the political climate of California and the country, IDEAS at UCLA will host a series of educational and empowering events on campus. We believe it is imperative to the progress of our movement to increase the visibility at UCLA of policies that affect the everyday lives of DREAMers and Allies alike. With that being said, we would like to invite you to partake in all of these events.

Time: 12pm-1pm

Governor Brown has until October 9th to sign the CA DREAM Act, and we need to hold him accountable to the promise he made to all DREAMers and allies at UCLA. With deportation cases springing up all across the country, we will not stand idly as our students continue to suffer. The stage has been set to mobilize the UCLA community. Now help us create a united front within UCLA, to assure the voice of the DREAM movement does not go unheard or unnoticed thus allowing to make our movement stronger.
